A Little Something

Journal Entry: Thu Nov 19, 2009, 4:42 PM

Ok so I have been busy painting a entry for the contest so I decided to upload some photos I have took this year. These are just some random ones I liked myself. I have just recently taken an interest in photography but due to my career change at the moment I cannot afford the Canon camera I have my eye on so I am left with two different models of Sony Cyber-shots to work with, and I am bound to make them work LOL. They actually have been good cameras allowing me to learn the basics although I think now I have outgrown them. Anyway I hope you enjoy the photos, from time to time I might add some more photos as well as some of my poetry but for the most part I want to keep this space for my art work and paintings (soon to come).

Please enjoy, comment, critique, and share your thoughts....

nailone : nailone's art is so refreshing and full of color, emotion, and movement that it captures the viewer like no other artist's work. This guy is a modern day Picaso and one of my most favorite artist on the scene. Please visit him and enjoy the experience!

~veridian-two : Rating at the top of my "favorite all time pastel artist" list is ~veridian-two. Mainly a figurative artist, he captures his subjects motion, movement, and fluidity like no other artist. A sign of mastery of the pastel medium imho. Give him a visit and make him a fav!!!

Your very welcome :) I think you are very beautiful, it is only too bad I found you after you removed most of the deviations. Oh well in the future when I have the time I would like to do some pastel paintings of a few of your photos, a couple of you and one of the building photos if you don't object of course? - I will follow your rules and use only here @ deviant and be sure to send you a note when they are done :)

Thanks for sharing
be well

Your very welcome John - I really enjoy your art work on here, I have been born into a family of artist and so started at a very young age, unfortunately the teenage years and on distracted me LOL and after a 24 year absent of any drawing and painting I have taken up what once was the biggest part of my life :) Anyway I came back here on DA, and the talent just blows me away and really has given me a lot of inspiration including your work ~ Thanks for sharing and the inspiration.

I will soon start posting my work as well, I am gonna try to shoot for a drawing/painting a day if I can pull it off, so if yah get a chance in the future come peek at my art and let me know what you think - I am open for some pointers as well.

And thanks for the fav on my photo - my newest part-time hobby. :)

Be well
